Day 4 – Departure
Our return flight was at 9:40 am and the day before, the Arlanda Express was blocked due to an incident on the line (there is a screen in the hotel lobby showing real-time schedules).
Of course, I had already purchased a round-trip ticket (via the app) but fortunately everything went well to leave.
The advantage of this proximity is that it took us +/- 1 hour between the hotel and passing through customs at the airport.
Having visited large airports such as LA, SF, JFK, I must admit that this airport is not bad at all and there are plenty of places to spend your last crowns! 
My Feelings
This trip was not the best of my life, but as explained, we had nothing planned.
However, I do not regret this short visit because we had a welcome change of scenery, and discovering another culture is always fun.
The simplicity of traveling means a lot. It was a great stay, and really fun with our daughters (9, 13, 14 years old). However, budget-wise, it would be crazy for a few days.
Of course, we’re still far from fully discovering the city, and to do it again, I would go further by metro and boat.
Although it is not cheap, I highly recommend the Arlanda Express and accommodation near the central station.
Regarding payments, I used Revolut and my debit card without any problems.
On the other hand, it makes me want to go to the north of Sweden by car!
