Compagnie Intérieure manufactures gutters and dental implants in France, which is the main reason for its founding in 2019 by David Pizza in Janneyria, located in the Northern Isère region, covering an area of 1,300 m², and employing 24 people.
In early March, Compagnie Intérieure was acquired by Astem Digital, a company founded in 2013 in Avignon by Cédric Mariotte that specializes in distributing innovative products to professionals in the oral health sector. With 35 employees, this acquisition was made with the participation of entrepreneurial investors, Cédric Baumer, who becomes co-CEO with Frédéric Tridon, CEO of Compagnie Intérieure.
“Astem Digital will bring a promotional dimension at the national level that we have not had so far,” says Frédéric Tridon. “Our growth will become more dynamic. The activities of Compagnie Intérieure have started growing with a turnover of €3 million in 2022 to €4 million in 2023. The group’s goal is now to increase its cumulative turnover from €18 million to €50 million within five years.” In terms of recruitment, the group plans to hire 60 employees by the end of 2024.
Compagnie Intérieure designs and manufactures invisible dental plate systems at its site in Janneyrias. Two implant ranges are subcontracted to partners in France. These products are sold to dental surgeons, orthodontists, and general practitioners in France who have also accepted their training offer.
With this acquisition, the company hopes to consolidate its position in France and expand its market position to neighboring countries in Europe, including Spain, Italy, and Germany, where competition is quite strong. “But our French know-how, at a fair price and of good quality, can make the difference,” says the CEO.
