Recently, “Gaulois Combinois” organized an Aveyron breakfast at the Émile Zola space.
This culinary event has been around for several years and is offered three or four times a year.
“It took us a lot of time to convince the ‘culinary connoisseur hello’ but during our culinary meeting we have already secured a hundred guests,” said Emilien Drayer, president of the association. “We offer three dishes to choose from. Tête de veau, tripoux and œuf ventru. Plus a soup, a charcuterie starter, cheese and dessert. The price, € 13, includes wine and coffee. And last Sunday, we broke the record by serving over 200 breakfasts. We had to wait for those sitting to get up to sit down. We’re not used to managing such a crowd, but everything went very well, thanks to the ‘partiers’ who patiently dealt with their problems and everyone was taken care of.”
The guests were “very well received”, according to event commentators who were already looking forward to the next edition.
And this is good news for the “Gaulois Combinois” who have announced their next culinary meeting on Sunday, April 28th.
